SAINT PAUL, MN, (November 1, 2017) – The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce (SPACC) is pleased to announce that Channon Lemon has been hired for the new 2-year contract position of Vice President of Economic Development. Channon started with SPACC on November 1. Channon has been driving innovation, spearheading organizational change, and leading economic development/new business development initiatives for over two decades. A native of the Twin Cities, Channon is excited to have relocated from Chicago, Illinois where she most recently served as a consultant at a privately held company in the role of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Chicago, she has served as the Vice President of Enterprise Vendor Management for CareSource, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit managed care companies, developed and launched the Minority Business Partnership in Dayton, Ohio, and served as a change management contractor for CDO Technologies. Channon has an MBA in marketing from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson school of Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in insurance from Howard University in Washington, D.C. “The role Channon is stepping into will focus on targeting not only existing businesses, but developers, brokers, partners such as GreaterMSP, and the new Mayoral administration.
