3M recently announced 10 weeks of paid leave for employees after the birth or adoption of a child. Mike Anderson is the Director of Global Benefits at 3M. This includes global responsibilities for design and delivery of 3M Benefits programs, and for overall global HR vendor strategy, and he has had responsibility for HR Strategy leadership. Prior to 2005, Mike held various responsibilities within Executive Compensation, U.S. and International Benefits area and in corporate finance. Mr. Anderson received both his undergraduate and MBA degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Conference Board Research Council on Employee Benefits, the Council on Employee Benefits, the Twin Cities Human Resource Executive Council, ERIC (ERISA industry organization) and a Board member of the Joseph Duke Foundation.
